The Brooks Addiction GTS is a supported running / walking shoe designed to provide stability and support.
Made on a straight last they come with re-enforced heel counters and the Brooks guiderail system, which are inbuilt stiffeners designed to prevent pronation. Deliberately built lower to the ground than a lot of the elevated platform running shoes, if stability is what you are looking for, these are a good option.
This is the wide "D" fit.
